This has a duplicate, LC 3066. We know that an AWB is in the works and suspect that more onerous restrictions such as the impossible standards for FFLs similar to Washington laws are in the works. Whatever the gun grabbers think will look good on their resumes will be on the table this session, since they have a super majority in both houses for the nest two years.

Where has this been mentioned? I 100% believe you but just want to be able to stay on top of it.
Can't say where I heard it, however, I can say that it's being discussed. If it doesn't show up in the pre-release bills, I suspect they'll slip it into the gut and stuff bills if they have the internal support.

It'll be a test of how much we can protest until we're exhausted and broke. They really don't care about constitutionality or legality of these anti-freedom bills. It's about power and resume building. Conservatives winning the white house has some looking for revenge, and it's shown that Oregon and Washington are easy targets.

Liberal politics is simply disgusting. I can't believe they get any traction with voters for putting this crap forward. Makes me ashamed to be an Oregonian . . . blue haired freaks.

OLIS now has the first 29 gun control bills listed using the search term "firearms". Here's the link:https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/...5fC8FXIzB6lnc9ubQ_aem_iQEB59cyRGsBJAPEyjnjLw#

OFF will have the text breakdown and analysis soon. LegiScan hasn't been updated yet so will need to wait on that as well.

ETA: the link only takes you to the first bill on the list. You can see the list by clicking on bills, text, and then typing "firearms" into the search box.

Interesting, since the Oregon Constitution states that males between the ages of 18 and 45 are members of the unorganized Oregon Militia that can be activated by and reports to the Oregon Governor. So, on one hand they can toss an M4 to a High School student but is otherwise not competent/trusted enough for similar weapons.

The under 21 militia members will have to carry flags, drums and bugles.

I haven't looked through all the bills but be on alert for a bill that causes firearm part suppliers to stop shipping to Oregon. I would suggest stocking up or filling wish lists before that happens. We have seen the pain that WA folks are going through.
