I don't like clogging up my gun safe with ammo - they're too expensive for small items that will fit pretty much anywhere to be displacing long guns that will only fit in the safe. To fix that I use fireproof file cabinets for storing smaller items like ammo, powder and primers. They're also useful for storing small firearms like pistols. Of course, you can also store your valuables in them as well, since they lock.
For sale are two fire proof file cabinets that I no longer need. I have a few of my own and have yet to find a better storage solution for my needs. They work well! These are both Fireking 4-drawer cabinets. They measure 18"W x 22"D x 53"H and weight around 400 pounds.
These cabinets allow you to toggle each drawer as either locking or non-locking, independent of the others. Meaning you could put valuables in the top two drawers and components that don't necessarily need to be locked in the bottom two. You won't have to unlock the whole cabinet in order to get access to the components while still keeping your valuables in the top two drawers safe.
I am available after 4pm M-F and am usually available on and off all day on the weekends. I can help load, but you'll need to eat your Wheaties too.
