Firearms Safety Class

With measure 114 requirement. Do we have to take safety class for purchasing a firearms?

Once the measure goes into affect, a permit would be required to purchase a firearm.

The permit scheme will likely be more involved than a safety class.

The measure is not in affect yet, and no one knows for certain when it will go into affect. Likely summer 2026.

Notable: the magazine capacity restriction portion of the measure MAY go into affect far sooner...
