So i recently acquired a Winchester model88 .308 & a Savage model 24
.22/.410. I went out shooting on sunday & both performed great! Though after a bit, the Savage barrel selector or firing pin selector rather (right behind the barrels) fell out of place or broke. I haven't really dug into it yet, but hopefully its nothing serious. The actual switch on the side falls out rather easily, so it might be sumthin related to that...The Model88 shot beautifully, didnt kick as hard as some reports i had read...I was expecting it to really buck, haha....Still need a magazine for the 88 too, just kinda waiting it out to see if I can get one for under $50...Anywayz, just wanted to share, i had a couple replies on some questions i had a couple weeks back...
