Never tried this ???
Of course, but seeing recommendations is a different thing since all FFL's are not created equally.

Anybody can find an FFL off a list.

But some of us have actual experiences and true recommendations, and will share them when we're asked.

AFS works very well for me. I've used them a lot and will continue to do so.

I sold a gun to a good member of the forum, on his recommendation of AFS. It was a good experience. Good price. you need to make an appointment. While waiting for the sale to clear I eye-balled an M1 Carbine they had on the wall. I ended up going back a couple days later, made an offer on that .30 carbine and walked out thew door with it. You being in Canby it would be a no-brainer I'd think. At least give 'em a call.

I tried a couple of those 6 or 7 years back trying to found one open on Sunday in SE PDX, of all the ones i tried to contact over half on the list were no longer active and only one of the rest was actually open on Sunday
I have no idea if they have cleaned up their list, and I don't really blame them for not spending all the time and money it would take to clean up the list, but all in all I am with @DirectDrive on this one. I would ask here for all the reasons listed before I resorted to one of those online resources

Opines on the internet are the luck of the draw. I'm willing to bet you disagree with more opinions offered here than you agree with.
Why would you want to discourage potential knowledge of other sources. Seems rather negative to imply most FFL's aren't worth looking into. I wouldn't give anyone carte blanc without further research. I know at least five others including myself that like Tigard pawn. We don't have problems with their rules and they will hold the gun after I sell it so I don't have to wait, or go back, after someone's lengthy back ground check, where others on this forum wont go there. Personally, I like having as many sources of information I can find on things I buy and use.
My apologies for offering potential useable sources for information.

I was in the 'don't like' category for a long time, but the last couple times I have been in have been fine, they don't hold your hand for the fingerprints anymore and the woman that has been previously mentioned in discussing them was not as "aggressive" as in years past.
Maybe she came on here and worked though some things? 🤔

If I was offering help, I wouldn't start out with multiple question marks.
That can be read as condescending.
In any event, thanks for your contribution.

Adaptive Firing Solutions in Oregon City has great service and is the least expensive Transfer fee I've found for Private Party Transfers.

Steve and his crew are awesome to deal with and make it a painless experience.

I never thought of criticizing over punctuation marks, but then, most of my poor marks in English when I was a kid were for punctuation and parts of speech, not content, Thanks for schooling me, I'll go find my old grammar book , no wait, I think I lost it in a boating accident.

Lighten up Francis...

It'll all be okay. :D
