Federal makes more than one kind of .223 ammo. FMJ? BTHP? Ballistic tip? How many grains?

If there is a box that the ammo came in, or a flap from the box, then there is usually info on that. If you just have a bunch of loose ammo without a box it came in, then a photo of a round showing the projectile and preferably the headstamp may help. Photos of items being sold are preferable here - people can often discern from a decent photo, the answers to these kinds of questions.

It makes a big difference in the desirability of ammo what the projectile is; people will pay less for FMJ/"ball" ammo and more for expanding self-defense or hunting ammo (some of which is considered "premium" ammo - mostly due to the projectile type).
