Other State FBI reward offered after firearm, magazine and FBI jacket stolen from special agent's vehicle

When I still worked in the Portland Federal Building, my co-worker picked up a sidearm left in a bathroom stall by an ATF agent (co-tenants at the time, probably in 2008-10 timeframe). Former LEO, he secured it and phoned Building Security.

The piece made it back to ATF. Back to that particular agent? Never heard. Always wondered. Maybe someone here is familiar?

Interestingly enough, in my area there are now bunches of car thefts, likely because people are too lazy to lock up their property with a bunch of bored schoolkids running around with little to keep them occupied--

Is it too much to ask for law enforcement to lock their vehicles?
