Yeah they did. A buddy bought one, so I got to play with it. Great little pack, a perfect daypack that could be pushed into a 3 day pack role.I had one for a while, I think they got discontinued a couple years ago, unfortunately. I used it as my hunting daypack after I gave up week long backcountry hunting.
Mystery Ranch Terraplane. It's big but it can carry a ton of weight (good for potential scavenging) and the yoke is measured for your torso so it's pretty comfy. 500d so tougher than hiking packs but not a tank like the 1000d mil stuff. Big enough to hide a broken down small rifle and other things that would raise attention trying to blend in.
If smaller and less weight is your game an Osprey Atmos is a really good choice. Though useless after about 40 pounds.
I personally embrace the attitude of "gray man" and not looking like a threat to occupiers dressed in full condor commando. Nor a cash cow for more nefarious marauders.
