A foreign policy debate should include Fast & Furious

Tonight’s third and final presidential debate dealing with foreign policy will undoubtedly focus on the Middle East and Libya, where the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were murdered, but the far larger “body count” issue that also definitely affects foreign policy is Operation Fast and Furious.

we already know o's stand on f & f executive privilege

But why? O claims he knew nothing of F & F. Executive Privilege only extends to comunications he and his staff had. How can he claim Exective Privilege on something he knew nothing about?
Or, if he did know about it why is he claiming he knew nothing about it?
Also Executive Privilege can't be used to shield illegal acts, and the whole F & F operation was illegal!

deen, you got that pretty well down pat.

Here's a little update on F&F that is just now making headlines:

No Fast & Furious question in debate, but case back in spotlight, anyway

Operation Fast and Furious did not come up during last night's final presidential debate, but it is definitely in the spotlight this morning as the two Capitol Hill lawmakers responsible for investigating the gun walking scandal are now asking for an update, and they've set a deadline tomorrow to get that information.

Well, they'e in federal court now trying to wrestle those protected documents loose.

A federal judge appointed by President Barack Obama may force him to turn loose of documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious, the scandalous gun trafficking sting that prompted a full blown investigation and hearings before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

This is the teflon president. He has the MSM in his pocket, elitists billionaires and LEGIONS of low-information constituents (many who are sucking off the public's teets) who think is is "god walking among us", and the SCOTUS and legislature are nothing short of sackless quizlings. Just what exactly do you think is going to happen? Not one mudda pluckin' thing will happen, except to spend several more million that we don't have for the next round of political theater.

Wow... am I ever jaded. :s0013:
