Just got my first AR in a trade. It has a fixed front sight post and I was curious if anyone makes a hand guard that goes around it extending the grip length? I found one online but it's just a quad rail. Looking for something with Mlok maybe?

They used to ne pretty common. I dont know whats out there. Yhm used to make them. Mayne midwest industries.

You could either replace the has block with a low profile block, or cut it down then get whatever handguard you want.

Daniel Defense makes them. They are spendy. And out of stock. But quad rail style that you can round up with rail covers.

Thanks for the responses. I don't want to cut it off. I'm not really set up either to be tearing it down to much and modifying things ( new low gas block). So was just curious if there were options out there that just went around it.
