These are little more than red sweater wearing paid crisis actors. I've seen their theater many times in Salem during anti gun Bill hearings. 20-30 mins before open testimony hugging, knitting and networking with their out of towner hommies. Cue the start of the hearing, they become solemn teary eyed, near train wrecks recounting their childhood and what drunk daddy might have done IF he had a gun. I've been to several of these and have yet to hear a first person testimony of theirs where a gun actually was used to hurt some one. Just a lot of what if's.

At these hearings there is also some old timer from a former socialist European country that shows up. He speaks beyond his allotted 2 minutes. The council try the shut him down but he keeps going until he ends with, give these people an inch and they take a mile. There is no time period where that is not true. That old timer has seen to repeat probably for 70 years.
