I am tired of using a pencil engraver on my silencers. While it is legal, it is sloppy. I am unable to find any kind of engraving machine or pantograph that will cut letters/numbers at least .003" deep that costs less than $300. I am also unable to find anyone near the Seattle area that is willing or able to engrave a firearm. I can not send my silencers off to an engraver (unless they are FFL/SOT2) and I have to be present while they are being worked on.

Can anyone recommend an engraver within 50 miles of Bremerton/Seattle? Thanks.

I called them last week. They say their laser engraving does not go deep enough (at least .003") for engraving serial numbers. Thanks.
