Hi Gunners,

I throughout an "I'll take it" on a very nice Hakim rifle ammo and bayo package. It's more or less a push on cost from a '69 Albanian SKS I recently moved. The market is kinda tough across the board for old iron these days but I'm happy and have a '70 Alby left. The common SKS Euro rifles are nearing the prices they should be pulling considering how scarce they are.
Here's a couple crappy pictures of the Hakim. I can't nail down if it been humped or a MADDI refurb (?) and it's just too clean to have seen action. It says 1971 but I thought that was past the production years. At any rate it's totally cool if kinda contraptiony in function. I can see how it'd crush your thumb :-[ PAX

Okay I don't know anything about that rifle, but I like it!

Gunboards consensus is it is a 1961 MAADI refurb, based mainly on the staking screws being fixed with black wire, fresh paint & stamped factory mag, gentle stock refinish (not aggressively sanded). No refurbed marks are used by the factory. PAX
