I'm surprised. I know several people who shoot the heavy .223 bullets and get excellent results. They do need to be seated pretty deep, but they seem to fit in their ARs....

Id like to load some heavies but havent tried due to how far into the case they will seat. Ive heard its not ideal to protrude past the bottom ring of the case shoulder and protruding into the case deeper means less powder and lower velocities. So I always assumed the longer high BC bullets were more for bolt guns.
Id be curious to know what bullets they are using and the velocities....
