I don't think of myself as a "Kimber-anti". But I know them well enough to determine they just aren't for me. Puddle, I remember having a discussion or two with you about Kimbers, but this could be a very enjoyable time for all. Sounds like a good excuse to get together clang some steel and get our guns dirty. For that reason alone I want to take you up on this. :s0155:

Oh, and share the pics and the story of the GSG. Sounds interesting so far.


Here's my trio of bobtails. I had a Ed Brown bobtail it my junk box so I just used a pair of bobtail grips as a template and marked the GSG frame for where to drill the pin hole and where to "bob" the frame. The rest was just a matter of filing down the frame (slowly!!!!) until it looked right to me then after some fine tuning I painted it with Rust-Oleum Dark Gray Primer #2089 which happened to be an exact paint match for the GSG.
