Personally, even if I was armed with a assault machine gun rifle, I would be petrified of a woman with a whistle. There is just something about that noise that makes me go weak in the knees and even renders even the deadliest of assault machine guns useless.

Now, if she has a whistle and a double-barrel shotgun, forget it.. I'll just do myself in before she can terrify me with those warning shots and whistle blows..
