Anyone ever done this? Design it themselves. Just curious.
After speaking with an engraver about specifics, I've been working one up to have laser engraved on the mag well, and also a couple contour plates (not sure if I'll put them there) for each side of the FF hand guards of my AR rifles. They're never getting sold, so I figured why not personalize them.
Then again, I'm pretty sure the Pro2A types will like my design. IF I ever did sell, I would include a copy of the design draft with the sale. I think the engraving will also be a good thing IF they ever get stolen. I just sent a draft of the graphic to the lazer man.
I'm sure Laser Engraving has been a subject at some point. Here's a cool demo.
