Deschutes National Forest closure

There is a large area in the Deschutes National Forest that is closed because of extreme fire danger. Cascade lakes highway was closed from the south until a few days ago and I'm hoping that it opens before November 5th when my Elk hunt begins. I have had great success there with my muzzleloader and want to hunt there.
