I think that is a very early version of a DW revolver - quite possibly something a collector would want.

The early ones (1970s) were the "D" & "W" models.

I had a mid-80s model in 44 mag, with the recessed barrel nut & ported barrel/shroud. Most accurate revolver I ever owned.
