Curious. I've seen "CZ Shadow" mentioned a bunch here. Didn't know what its stats were. I don't get those metal grips though? But that's me. Our three CZ's and a Tanfoglio have wood and rubber grips.

"CZ" All steel are great guns in my, (our) book. Something about the slide thing for me. The action moves like an ice cube on warm glass. Very easy to dissemble/reassemble for cleaning.

Love cz-75 and clones! SAR k12 sport which is a version of the tanfoglio (as is the Jericho). Sar also has a more cz-75 like version that is only $364. Got one of those to play with "jeweling" the bead blasted satin stainless steel.

Re the cz shadow. I may be wrong but I think there is shadow2 (as shown for $875), shadow 2 optics ready above that, ts 2 which has straight trigger (my favorite of all of them but too much $ for me) above that, and then several version above that orange, green, red, and then the accushadow above that. Hopefully a cz guru can correct me if any of those are wrong.

I decided on the Sar k12 sport x for $609 and holy moly is it accurate to shoot. Love that gun. Trigger is incredible on it. They make k12 sport which is the same gun but has flared mag well and no slide cuts.
$364 SAR 2000 (cz 75 clone):

$364 SAR 2000 (cz 75 clone):
Is it a polygonal barrel? Our SP01 and 75 B aren't. The Tanfo is more accurate than the others.

Barrel has traditional rifling. As I recall my Jericho had polygonal. I wonder what shadow 2 has. Never bothered to look it up.

Probably weight, also shiny.

May be worth mentioning that the TS uses different magazines than the Shadow 2/normal CZ75 so if you already have normal ones that could be a consideration.

Was considering a Shadow 2 recently but bought a Tanfoglio Stock I instead, partly because it's a little cheaper and partly because there's a dovetail red dot mount that looks like it could actually be decent. With the Tanfoglios there are both small frames (should take normal CZ75 mags) and large frames (which don't). They also have a firing pin block, unlike the Shadow 2, but probably like the SAR, if that matters to anyone. Not nitrided like the CZ or stainless like the SAR though.

That's a great point about mags, forgot about that. Jericho, sar2000, Sar k12 sport all use cz 75 mags which is handy. Sportsman's guide always seems to have 19 rounders for $26.

I was waiting for the shadow TS 2 to come down in price but could never find for less than $1200 in the 8 mo or so I watched it.

So sar 12 sport x fit the bill for half the price for me. Trigger is really excellent. Reset is a bit long for those who are really fussy about that.
