Here are my 1911 projects for 2023 all serialized custom builds , lots of hand fitting labor and love with hand tools hones and stones,
Truly I have always been a fan of the 1911 even though I Smith lots of other guns as well , however still working 50 hrs a week at my regular job does not allow me to spend the time gunsmithing as much as I would like.
My favorite project this year is the Iver Johnson Eagle XL .45 converted into a Rowland 460 using Rowland 460 and EGW parts mostly ,Wilson magwell, this is tuned to shoot any .45 loads as well as all 460 loads simultaneously, awesome and fun to shoot.
Not sure what 2024 will entirely be for projects yet , I have a couple of in the white Remington bolt actions iam thinking on
However i do not have a milling machine any longer , i can find someone do my milling
