Hello,
I believe this to be an early Al Biesen made stock.
I have had the rifle apart and do not see any marking stating Al Biesen, but the cut and checkering in particular look to be his hallmark craftsmanship.
It has stunning wood and checkering nonetheless.
Pre 64 Modle 70 action.
Leupold scope is clear and crisp.
It's been hunted and there is one blueing loss and character marks in the wood but nothing substantial.
It's a really nicely put together rifle , that came out of an estate with extremely high end guns. No indication as to maker, and the other custom rifles I bought from this estate didn't either. But all of them were extremely well executed by a skilled gunsmith.
I will ship.
