Up for grabs is a Remington "Sportsman 78" rebarreled into a 257 roberts. For those that don't know the 78 was a remington 700 "economy" model made from 84-89 on a 700 action with a cheaper matte finish and cheaper wood stock. I got it as a 30-06 In college and had it turned into what it is now with a Wilson #4 5groove 1:10 twist cut to 24.5" and put in just a texture painted stock I had at the time. newer black ceracoat. This rifle shoots great I just have too many guns that I shoot more and another I prefer that is ballistically similar. rifle comes bare without the scope or rings.
