The coyote cartoons ruined my sense of empathy. I was watching a video of an actual BASE jumper whose chute failed and he fell (and survived) into some deep snow. All I could think of was the coyote cartoons.

Funny. I have a friend down in AZ who just posted a photo of this roadrunner on his ranch this week - he did specifically mentioned he saw no coyotes or ACME trucks in the area:

Coyote woke me out of a heavy sleep about 12:30 AM this morning. It is amazing how much noise they make and how close they must have been. They are definitely out there and sound hungry.
