Gag! Years ago I was elk hunting with a friend when a coyote stepped out in a clearing. My friend blasted it with a .338 Win Mag and then threw it in the back of his SUV because his young son wanted to collect the $10 bounty offered in Douglas County at that time. It soon began to smell like skunk in the SUV. I told my friend I would give his son the $10 if he would just dump that coyote outside.

Hey I make a lotta jerkey, meat sticks and other tasty smoked stuff but 'yote meat will NEVER wind up my grill! Yuk! However this ain't the first time I have heard of someone eating coyote.

Stinkin' lice & flea ridden creatures!

Coyotes? The only time I've seen them is a gray streak out of the corner of my eye and then they're gone in the trees.
One night in my cabin, about 2AM they were howling and yipping so loud it sounded like right outside. I took a shotgun to fire into the air and as soon as I stepped out of the door they went silent for the rest of the night. Didn't even get to shoot the 12ga.
