I have a sporterized U.S. Model 1917 Eddystone with a 4x31 Cornell scope. Can't seem to find any information online about Cornell scopes.

Anyone know about this brand?

Wanted to post a few questions and respond to a post. I Just got a hold of a whittworh 7mm mag with a bushnell scopechief 4 anybody have any experience with either. Now to reply to a previous post I have a cornell scope made in japan 3-9x40 on a sporterized 30-06 03 springfield it seems to work fine. I killed a hog last year here in the peoples republic of California using that old scope and rifle. I AM ALSO HAVING A **** OF A TIME FINDING ANY INFO ON THIS SCOPE. I am thinking of replacing it with a more modern redfield 3-9x40 on both those rifles

Yes sir have one on my 30-06 sporterized springfield 03 work ok i think its 50s 60s era
