This Colt 1878 12gauge S/S engraved double barrel shotgun is in very good condition. Have Colt Archive Letter Demonstrating its authenticity. Shipped in 1880. The Damascus pattern is very well defined and the wood is in extremely good condition. Breaks down into three pieces perfectly. Asking $2750. No trades. Gun is a 142 year old antique so there is no FFL transfer necessary and no sales tax as a private sale in the state of Washington. My FFL will only ship to another FFL in another state, If that poses a problem for you, don't buy it. Right. Back in The Day-the shotgun probably cost only $60, while a Colt Peacemaker only cost about $17 by mail order. Those were the days.
