What makes this rifle worth $ 465.00 ?? Just wondering seems real steep to me.Its only an SKS.

M & D models are a lot harder to find than regular chinese carbines. The fact that they take AK mags and have a short barrel is an attractant to many people and in general command a higher price than more common SKS's. On the open market less common things tend to go for what people are willing to pay for them. Supply and demand.

I don't think i was trashing any one. I wouldn't do that intentionally.
I just remember what these guns used to bring on the market and was wondering why the seller is asking this price.
I apologize if i offended any one.Maybe he is just starting high to negotiate ? I don't know,but thanks for the input on the mags and the length.I personally would rather have the short version my self and the magazine option of swapping out is definatly a plus.

I've never seen the D and M models near as cheap as a regular SKS.
