Not sure what else to call this but "activism"... Mods, feel free to relocate as needed.

Was browsing Classic Firearms and landed on their FAQs page, where I noticed this:

I love to see FFLs and gun companies call it like it is. Wish more of them would do that.
 
The sticky wicket for all who claim "I believe in the 2nd Amendment", and then proceed to tear it apart is that the founding fathers chose a vey specific word to include that endows it (rightly so) with greater emphasis and greater protection than all other rights:

"infringed".

Root word: "fringe": edge, border, boundary, parameter, outer limit, etc.

This right stands alone as the one the founders knew that is not even to be approached to it's edge;. because it is the last refuge of a free person toward oppressive government, and the government needs to remain aware of this in every single action they take.

All other arguments (about the definition of militia, etc.) are superfluous.

In my experience dealing with pols, "But" is a codeword for "Ignore everything I said, it was full of more BS than a stockyard."
