chokes to use on ducks/geese

what kind of chokes do you use I have used full and extra full. I have ben told you should not use them because the shot can ricochet off of each other.

because the shot can ricochet off of each other.

That happens, but it happens no matter what choke you use. For the ricochet to really have any meaningful effect, the shots would have to collide at steep angles to one another - but they don't - they are all bouncing down the tube in the same direction and any collisions between shots is going to cause a very small angular change. This is indeed part of what creates each pattern.

Use the right choke for the right distance and necessary density, but don't worry about "ricocheting."
