Just removed a good amount of cosmoline. Firing pin came out in 2 pieces, stock appears to be for a blade rather than a spike.

$300 cash

Alternatively if someone has a cleaning rod, firing pin, or spike cut stock I might be interested.

Also will consider trade offers for surplus guns, maybe surplus ammo (7.62x54r, 7.5x55, 30-06 m2), etc. Or?

Almost helped you. I've a brand new stock but on inspection it turns out to be for a Yugo.

I took a dremmel and opened my sks stock up to accept a spike. It was pretty easy and looks like it's factory. Blade bayonets are expensive and hard to find. Cutting is cheap and easy

Thanks for the offer but I think the metal retainer for the stock (the part where they cut it to accommodate different bayonets) is cut for a spike bayonet. I'll double check though and get back to you.

I haven't shot it myself but the gun cycles fine so I doubt there would be any other problems.
