If this deal was a 16" I might have jumped on it. I am thoroughly confused about the current braced pistol rules.

Yeah no long-term guarantees about the legality of anything, braces being at the top of the list.

I bit the bullet and applied for SBR on my 10.5

Page no longer exists.

Oh well, the anodizing was probably purple-tinted anyways.... just like half of the other stuff that I bought from them before.

Yikes that doesn't sound good. I've bought quite a bit of their stuff in the past, I use them for my cheap plinkers or for training new friends/family. I've got everything from the CHF line to the nitride line to the freedom line and I never had seen anything like that before.
