Got a hare-brained idea to tinker around with gunsmithing, so I'm looking for any inexpensive semi-auto rifle or carbine in any caliber (preferably something that can accept 20+ round mags, but I'm not too picky :p) that I can use as a guinea pig. Condition is not a concern (so long as it shoots, obviously ;)). Based on the research I've done, I think that a Camp 9, 10-22, or Mini-14 would be ideal, or something of similar style. Note that I'd prefer not having to spend over $200 for something I'll be taking apart, know what I mean? Let me know what you've got, and we can talk price.
