cheap .22 pest gun

Looking for a cheap ugly pistol that will shoot .22 short/LR and not blow up in my hand/face to be used for pest control. Doesn't have to be pretty, accurate, or in new condition. Not looking for a collector piece as the business end will likely get some scratches and tooth marks from "face time" with the pests.

It should be reliable and safe. Single shot, revolver, autoloader, etc.

good god man, what kind of pests have you got that you'd trust a .22 to take care of that would also chew your barrel
