Not sure about the semi-autos, but I have a sp tactical pump(basically the same gun in pump action), and it has been a great gun. One thing to consider is the fact that Charles Daly has gone out of business, and i have no idea if anyone has agreed to do warranty/service work. I have a Mossberg spx 930 pistolgrip. with a blue force two point sling and tach light with 340 lumens. I have shot brid shot,00 buck magnums,slug magnums. slow fire, rapid fire and have no miss fires or miss feeds. This thing gets it happening.

I took a semi auto in trade. Never used it myself but my son in law went Pheasant hunting with it and said it performed well

Unfortunately not made in the USA, I would urge you to look at the mossberg 930spx or the remington 11-87.
