I guess my AXTS Raptor (Now Radian) because its ambidextrous. Not that I need it. On another build I have a cheap $15 milspec charging handle that works just fine too. I dont really find I needed the ambi feature but the Radian is built really nice. The cool logo and name etched into the anodize wears off quickly though.

As a lefty I like the ambi charging handle.
I find the Raptor works really great from either side, and you don't have to depress the milspec tab. It works great for me on the rifle with a larger hunting scope that the ocular lens overhangs the charging handle area enough that the Raptor was best on that rifle, I can charge the Raptor with just one finger if needed from either side. They are good charging handles.

I have owned/tried several, aren't many others I care to try.and standardized on the Radian Raptor as me go to.

Maybe you just haven't found the right one. ;)
They get in the way of my grip. I need to invest in a quality LH only safety selector. But for now I just run a standard one.

Left thumb kicks it off. Left index finger kicks it on. It's not ideal but it works. That's the way I've always done it. Probably why I haven't gotten anything new. I had the talons for awhile. Ended up getting rid of them. Use to run it with only the right side on. But the dove tail on the left side that stuck out past the lower receiver drove me nuts. My OCD couldn't handle it. lol.

I am open to suggestion. I like trying new things.

You have obviously not tried the FCD/SOLGW joint venture, the "Quick"

V-Seven - Handles are rounded w/ no sharp angles. Average cost

Any advantage to ambi charging handles?
If I rack the gun with my left hand, the lever is in the right place for my index finger, as I don't reach around the action like I do if using the right hand. So, for me the left side release lever seems nearly perfect.
One of my guns uses a Noveske handle that has an extended release, the other is stock Colt. I like the extended lever, but I don't think it makes much difference
Even as a righty I like a couple of things. Maybe I'm just not smart enough or experienced enough to know better. I like the ambi safety cuz I can more easily flick it on with my index finger than with my thumb and I like the BAD device that allows me to close the bolt with the same. One gun has them, one doesn't. I should change one of them so at least both of mine are the same.

I don't really care which charging handle so long as it is reinforced so as not to deform from side-pulls, and it comes from a known, "better" maker. I have BCM, Geissele, and Radian.

I have BCM one. But bought a few spare charging handle from Brownells as well. Not sure who makes them but they work in a pinch.

MK 19 Charing Handles
Because, unlike the M2, they keep both arms exercised. 🏋️‍♂️

Being left handed, I previously shot ARs with standard controls for many years, so while it is definitely doable, there is for left handed/ambidextrous shooters.
Thanks. After I asked, I then pictured a doing it left handed and realized the latch would be under the middle finger if using the primary hand to rack the bolt. 👍

I was just going to mention the PRI Gas Buster's. My choice for my ARs that I run suppressed, which is almost all of them.
