Is this as good a most people say it is as far as consistency goes?
SGAmmo.com has a 5,000 round case for $329. Seems reasonable?

It is certainly one of the top choices for standard/sub sonic 22lr ammo on the lower end of the price spectrum. You probably have to get closer to or above the $50/brick of 500 to see any marginal improvement in consistency.

I have three rifles that will shoot CCI std vel into MOA groups, just bought another case of it.
Also use it in my rifle for speed steel.

Nickel sized groups at 50 yards and quarter sized groups at 100 and flyers are very rare.

So, slightly better than I get with ordinary CCI Blazer although there are the expected few (very few) flyers with the Blazers and even those aren't really…uuuhh … flyery?:s0153:
Kinda like aiming 10 rounds at a squirrel's left eye but 2 rounds hit the right :s0092:

Either is a good time at the range, and provide just enough inconsistency to allow an experienced shooter some acceptable excuses by blaming his ammo.:s0155:

In my CZ 455's, it is okay, but usually will have a flyer in each 5 shot group. SK Standard Plus is slightly more expensive, but shoots better in my rifles and is worth it for our club 100 yard .22LR bench matches.

That is the best price you are going to find and cheaper than one of the cases I bought less than a year ago from SG.

I recently started shooting it because it stays subsonic, cycles my semi auto's and is reasonably priced.

Does this include shipping as well? If so that's a great price considering we are still recovering from covid (roll eyes!) I use this ammo almost exclusively for all of my guns aside from some of CCI's special suppressor specific options in bolt guns. Thanks for the tip, I think I'll get another 5k coming as I'm getting down a little on stock.

6.5 cpr is a good price. 4.5 cpr was the pre panic price so by today's prices it's good. Target sports was about 7 cpr as I recall 1-2 months ago but I don't know if that included free shipping.

CCI SV works good for me. I have not bought any for at least 5 years; I recall paying about $250/case last time I purchased. So $329/case in current times is probably a fair deal given the inflation which has occurred.

$329/case is a great price. CCI SV is the most consistently accurate ammunition across all of my firearms. I prefer CCI Blazer or MiniMags for speedsteel matches as I find it feeds and ejects more consistently in semi-autos as they get dirty.
