Carpet stretching

Anyone got a carpet stretcher I could borrow for a couple of days?

Hillsboro or Beaverton areas.

Or anything that could be used to stretch carpet without the stretcher?

Looking for tips and advice on it as well.

I believe Harbor Freight sells the knee kicker.
Before you start kicking, take a watering can and lightly sprinkle the back side of the carpet (don't soak). This will let it stretch a little better when you do the kicking. Don't worry, the water will evaporate.
