going to the beach for a week, just looking around the cannon beach area to find a place to go shooting as well as ....

Head south on 101 and look for logging roads just south before you get to oswald park.

thats what we kind of figured, just don't know if Clatsop county had certain rules or regulations. have a call in to the Deputy that tours the area. thanks.

Not many rules out there. Unless it's posted for no shooting.... Just look for safe back stop off the road and you should be good to go. Another area would be up the old Neahlam river road, lots of places there and it's flatter. Google maps is your friend, you should have no problem finding a legal and safe place to shoot.

thanks Salps, would like it to be fairly close to Cannon Beach/Tolovana area. will check out the maps and may just make a day of finding a shooting area. just wondered if someone had a favoritie spot. will clean up my mess and others if necessary. thanks again.

anyone have a favorite spot that WILL not get abused? maybe even pick up a bag or so of garbage to pack out. thanks.
