Can anyone tell me when this pistol was born (year)

I have a book for Winchester but not for Smith. It's a 32 short in pristine condition. The bore looks like it has never been fired, but it has.
I have had it for years in the back of one of the safes but never inspected it. Just wondering.

No idea on age but that thing is impressive. For how old it is someone did take very good care of it. Will be interesting to find out when it was made.

I can't read the serial number but here's the page from the Supica book with serial number dates for the .32 safety hamerless

Serial number range 163082 - 242981 made from 1909 to 1937.

NO, I don't have any ammo for that one but I don't think I would shoot it anyway.

That would be a round you would want to roll your own if you do want to shoot it. Ammo would be spendy to buy new. Since its in such great shape though I can see why you may not want to shoot it. I would not be able to not shoot it but I am like that with every gun I own. :s0140:
