Can a Kahr P9 handle +P+ ammo?

I just bought a Kahr P9 covert and I'm looking into what personal defense ammo to buy. I believe the gun is rated for +P but I have been looking at the winchester ranger +P+ and want to know if anyone has had experience using that stuff and if it would be safe to shoot in the P9.

no gun is rated for +P+, because there is no standard for +P+, it just designates that the ammunition has a higher pressure than above +P standards.

I have shot the +P in my PM9 no prob. these are well built guns that should be able to take hot loads, but +P is hot enough for me.

+P+ is only good for machine guns.

I wouldn't use it in any handgun.
