Was getting all my gear together tonight in anticipation of Elk hunting with a buddy early tomorrow morning. Have a spot all picked out where we have seen some real nice Bulls.
So last minute I grab my hunting license holder to make sure everything is in order. Low and behold I discovered that I inadvertently purchased Coastal Elk First Season which is not until Nov 10- 13... grrrr
And because of the infinite wisdom of ODFW I cannot have more than one general season tag..
Again I am bummed.

Not as bad as you, but sounds like the time I bought fishing and crabbing licenses on line, then got
out there and found I had forgotten to get, Catch Report Cards.
Long trip in the dinghy to correct that one.

At least you weren't up hunting when you discovered this mistake. Go enjoy the day with your hunting partner anyways. Its too nice out there to sit home bummed.
