Build Thread Buffer tube

I have a quick question. Is there a difference between a AR 15 PISTOL buffer tube and a AR 15 rifle buffer tube.
Will a AR 15 rifle buffer tube and spring work in a AR 15 pistol ??

An AR carbine length spring and buffer will work fine in a pistol tube. But if you're building a pistol, use a pistol tube.

I know brother, but I hear LOTS of guys calling a carbine tube a rifle tube. Not too many guys running rifle length stuff these days. Not tacticool enough.

If your referencing To A2 fixed stock as Rifle length Tube, The spring and buffer won't work.

to answer your question...pistol and carbine tubes take the same buffer and spring generally.

Using anything but a pistol tube on a pistol is just asking for problems. Too easy to make an accidental SBR.
