Yes, on the platform they hate and vilify the most because they cant censor it anymore.
So odd thats where he announced it.
Twitter was as idiotfest and X is no different.

I suspect most of the reports of hate and villification come from sources who want to spin anything they can into another lame appendage of their own victimization narrative.

Some of you may not have noticed, but since Sleepy Joe gave his official endorsement to Kamala, she's been quite busy trying to walk back all of the extreme left statements she made during her (rightfully) short-lived campaign to be the Dem nominee for President in 2020.

It's gotten so crazy, that her people are currently scurrying around and denying she said stuff that there's still video of her saying said stuff...

"No, she didn't really mean she was going to stop fracking,"

"No, she really didn't mean she was going to confiscate guns,"

"No, she really didn't mean that the Border Patrol was the same as the KKK,"

"No, she really didn't mean that she totally supported defunding the police,"

"No, she didn't really mean that the U.S. should ban all private healthcare plans and totally socialize medicine,"

"No, she didn't really say we should legalize all abortion without limitations, including third trimester"

"No, she never said that all the arson during the peaceful protests of 2020 were legitimate expression of dissatisfaction."

Oh, wait -- in the immortal words of the legendary Roseann Roseanna Danna, "Never mind." She really did say all that...

There are 40.9K "hearts"....I am assuming that these are "likes / loves " what was said.
And yes I know the dangers of assuming....

40.9K is a whole lot of people...and yes....that could simply mean that 40.9K people just pushed a button.
However , 40.9K people can make a loud noise...
40.9k worldwide, considering Twitter/X's global usage, out of millions, if not billions?

Something else to consider. Even if the entire population of a town like Albany, Oregon(50k ish) voted solidly red, it won't influence Oregon's Electoral College votes as much, because of Portland Metro area which at last count, accounted for about 50% of Oregon's population

Edit, looked up more recent data, says about half of Oregon lives in the Portland Metro area

40K "likes" on one social media post isnt indicative of anything.
Reality is more like roughly almost half the country is going to vote for her. Same for Trump with almost the other half. The presidency will be decided by a small minority of moderates left and right.

Uh huh
