All steel receiver, an original John Browning design...
Beautiful bird hunting gun, I've only fired about a hundred rounds through it on clays, i bought it used a few years back. Performs beautifully, locks up tight, top tang safety, bottom feed and eject, i would call it completely ambidextrous!!
