Very nice Browning B78 in 30.06 with tapered octagon barrel. I purchased used from Cabela's gun library a couple years ago with a specific project in mind but I have never been able to bring myself to butcher a rifle in this condition. Blueing I would say is in excellent condition, wood is in good shape with a good amount of safe rash and handling marks. The trigger has definitely been worked over by a prior owner and is extremely light. I have not shot this rifle, only purchased and put into the safe. Comes with the factory Leupold style bases but I will note that a prior owner buggered up the screws holding down the bases really bad. Overall this will make an elegant shooter grade single shot and is a wonderful interpretation of the classic Winchester high wall.
