Hello All, Been looking for a NEW Browning 725 trap model. Now disconinued seems scarcer than hens teeth. Dont want to buy unseen on gunbroker. Bass Pro in Tulaltin has one but I am not clear if Oregon dealer can sell to WA resident. Any info or tips appreciated.

Likely that Bass Pro will send the gun to a Cabela's or Bass Pro in Washington for transfer to you.
Call them, they're looking to sell guns.

I have purchased a gun from a Cabela's in another state and they just sent it to my Cabela's. (I believe now that Bass Pro and Cabela's have merged they'll work with you.)

Best of luck.

An Oregon dealer can legally sell a break-action shotgun to a Washington resident.

The next question is, "will they"? Some dealers restrict themselves more than the law necessitates, to be "more protected from the authorities". It's nonsense, but it is the reality of our times.

Give them a call and ask. Either they will sell outright, or transfer to an in-state store, or not. Calling is a sure way to tell!

There are a bunch of 'em on GunBroker. If you make contact with the seller and get a guarantee that the one you receive will be the one pictured I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Some of them have gorgeous wood.

Mid Valley Clays Pro shop has a few listed. I purchased my last BT99 from the Tualatin Cabela's without any problems, they do honor the 10 day wait for Washington.
