A friend of mine is a Chinook pilot and going to A'stan in a month so things like this scare me. I know he will be good. He was a Ranger for 8 years so he's a tough guy.

Yeah...they have two pilots......but lose a transmission gearbox on a Chinook and they take on the flight dynamics of a brick.....You could see him fighting in the flair before touchdown...good job. For a tea drinker......
