Kydex > Leather
Appendix > Hip
Depends on my priorities at any given time, I have both and use both. In a casual setting where I'm prioritizing comfort and not overly concerned with total concealment I'll choose my Kramer #3 leather IWB, but if I'm going to be around crowds or people I don't know or in a non permissible environment than I most likely will choose Kydex AIWB. I say most likely because there's always other considerations to take into account, such as a while back I injured my hip joint and couldn't carry like I wanted to so I carried like I could. That's why I have multiple holsters both LH and RH, and prioritize ambidextrous firearm handling skills.

Striker fired > Anything with a hammer
Depends which striker fired vs which hammer fired. I'm very committed to Glock but there are probably more hammer fired guns I'd choose over the available striker fired guns if Glock had never an option.

Tenicor and DARA are two small-er businesses with similarly excellent quality, designs, and customer service. DARA is a little "older fashioned" but has more gun/light options; Tenicor has few gun/light options but their design skill is excellent.
