They are slick, beautiful Berettas but they suffer from extremely low profile "carry sights".
By the time you pay for the gunsmith to "fix" the sight issues, you could have purchased a current Model 92. And it takes a highly qualified gunsmith to do the sight work.

The other "issue" is that the 92s has the European style "heel" mag release which some Americans do not like. They also need the low slot on the mag to work with the heel release.
MecGar and M9 USGI mags do not work. Genuine Beretta mags have the legacy slot for 92s.

They are an inexpensive way to get a Model 92 into your collection.
I have one and it has the smoothest action of any pistol that I have ever handled.
Even the original mag slides in like nothing else....well except....
